Johnny and the Moondogs

An Errol Estate home grown band,  The Moondogs, started playing together in approx May of 2002 and the rest is history All the band members live in Errol  

Playing soft rock from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s from famous groups
as The Drifters, The Belmonts, Elvis Presley, Credence Clearwater,The Beatles, The Eagles and many more, even a few Irish tunes

We are a 5 piece band featuring the following artists:

Steve Gismondi     Lead singer and guitarist playing professionally for over 20 years from New York to LA

Born and raised on the tough streets of New York

Buy him lots of cold beer and he might play your requests   
p.s.  loves redheads

Ken Holznagel      Lead guitarist and singer playing professionally for over 20 years  Born and raised in Conneticut (that’s some little town near New York)   Answers to the name of Lurch  
Loves playing rock and hot hot chicken wings  

Tim Landers  Base Fiddle player (if you don’t know what a base fiddle is come and watch us)        Born and raised in Alabama 

Tim has played with some of the best Bluegrass bands in the world, but we tricked him into playing soft rock with the Moondogs

John Coburn        Our infamous harmonica player  Born and raised in Missouri,    Johnny has added his unique dimension to many popular groups again we tricked him into playing with the Moondogs  ( pity works )

Frank Filippelli    Our first drummer in almost a year   Now we can play great dance tunes  He is the old man of the group playing for over 30 years  Born and raised on the Italian streets of Chicago   loves to play all types of music but especially rock classics  After over 20 years in Florida he is starting to like country music,  heaven help us

Can’t keep up with us in beer drinking but give him some wine and look out
